Here are a few snaps taken in various forests that we've visited over the past few days. Most of these old growth forests look totally overrun with every kind of moss, lichen, creepers, roots, mildew and ferns to the point that the bark of the tree hard to distinguish. These old forests look just like some of the sets used in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Pretty much everything you see stirs a memory from one or other scene. At the time, finding locations for Middle Earth must have been great fun. Here are a few shots that I think might jog your memory. (Pic by Natalie)
